Alexandra "Alex" Goldstein
Associate Attorney
Alexandra "Alex" Goldstein is an associate attorney at Palmer Family Law, where she practices exclusively in family law.
Alex represents clients in complex and emotionally sensitive family law matters, including high-conflict child custody disputes, cases involving domestic violence and coercive control, allegations of child abuse or neglect, and matters involving the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. She has litigated Hague Convention cases in both state and federal court.
Clients working with Alex can expect thoughtful, steady, and strategic guidance. She takes the time to understand each client's goals, concerns, and family dynamics so they feel heard, protected, and respected throughout the legal process. While many family law matters can be resolved through careful negotiation and settlement, Alex is always prepared to advocate strongly and strategically for her clients in court when litigation becomes necessary.
In addition to representing clients, Alex serves as a Child and Family Investigator, commonly known as a CFI. In this role, she provides courts with guidance in matters involving the allocation of parental responsibilities. She also serves as a Child Legal Representative, or CLR, representing the best interests of children involved in custody disputes.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Alex earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from Trinity University in San Antonio. She later moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, Alex was a member of the National Trial Team and competed in national trial competitions. In 2020, she and her teammates won the In Vino Veritas Trial Competition. Alex continues to support trial advocacy by returning to judge mock trial competitions at multiple levels.
Alex has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and has been named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. She has also been published in Law Week Colorado and Best Lawyers.
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys film photography, gardening, cheering on the San Antonio Spurs, and spending time with her husband and their two fur babies, Vinnie and Dyna.
